The Lake Granbury Art Show and Sale 2026 opens on Thursday, Oct. 1 and runs through Sunday, November 15 at 224A N. Travis Street in beautiful Granbury, Texas. Reception and awards will be Saturday, Oct. 17 from 6-8pm. The Lake Granbury Art Association has been producing the Fall Show since nearly the very beginning of its existence over fifty years ago – what began as a small local show grew to a friends and neighbors show and is now a respected national juried show.
The Fall Show and Sale 2026 saw 242 total entries from 116 artists from across the nation. Of those, juror Scott Myers carefully selected 67 pieces from 57 artists that would be shown at the historic Shanley House Gallery. Once the work is hung and placed in the gallery Myers will judge the pieces for awards and they will be announced at the reception and awards ceremony. The show includes paintings, drawings, mixed media, graphics and three dimensional work. Gallery hours for the show are Sunday, 1-4 pm; Monday, 9-noon and Thursday-Saturday from 10am-4pm. Special events during the show include the Harvest Moon Festival of the Arts Oct. 23-25 and Last Saturday Gallery Night on Saturday, Oct. 31.
