Are You An Artist?
Do you draw? Paint? Sculpt? Make pottery, stained glass, take photos or wood carvings? Lake Granbury Art Association members work in all these mediums and more. We invite you to become a part of our association. Our meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6pm. You are welcome to attend a meeting or two to get a feel for the organization before joining. For more information call 817-579-7656.

As A Member You Will:
- Receive emails with club news and events.
- Be able to participate in our Spring Membership Only Show, Fall Open Juried Show, Photography Open Juried Show, and additional membership shows that vary year to year.
- Receive discounts on workshops from nationally recognized artists hosted at the Shanley House Gallery. Workshops are available in a wide variety of mediums.
- Participate in First Friday Feedback the first Friday of each month from 12pm-1:30pm. Get some needed feedback in a non-threatening environment. Bring your lunch and your art. You can also come without a piece and learn from other’s feedback. –LEARN MORE–
- Each summer the LGAA sponsors & teaches classes and workshops for kids. Our Kid’s Summer Art Camp is a highly anticipated community event.
Participate in free weekly art sessions at Shanley:
- Monday Morning Portrait Session, 9:30am to noon. Clothed models are available for life drawing sessions. –LEARN MORE–
- The Monday Morning Portrait Group has expanded to a night session. If you have desired to join the group as an artist or as a model but the daytime session doesn’t work for you, this is your chance! The session takes place during Last Saturday Gallery Night from 5pm-7pm. Ask Susan Phillips or Eden Duncan Gilbreath if you have questions. –LEARN MORE–
- Open Studio Wednesdays for LGAA members and their guests at Shanley House Gallery. Any medium. Just come on by with your current project and enjoy some camaraderie, inspiration and feedback from your fellow artists. 10am-4pm on any Wednesday. –LEARN MORE–
- Thursday Studio Time Led by Kathy Yoders 1pm-4pm. Kathy, instructor, will assist you in any medium you choose. $20 a session paid to Kathy. all Kathy at 682-258-1457. –LEARN MORE–
